I have just had an e-mail from Doreen
just to tell you how gutted we both are
you may frown
you did the gig on your own after telling us you were going out with Steve for a meal
I even lent you my sparkling tassels with matching thong
no wonder you are so tired we heard coming home on the back of a milk float singing and flashing my tassels
well we are hurt (they looked better on you)

Oh golly - I was hoping I had kept it secret because your tassels got a bit mangled under the hooves of the milkman's horse - and please don't ask how! As for your thong - well, it was bright orange and horses are partial to a carrot, so need I say more?
I had a wonderful time and my knee length sparkly gladiator sandals caused almost as much of a sensation as my new routine with Kathleen's snake. You didn't know Kathleen was there as well, did you? She borrowed Lyn's scissors and cut off a few things she should have left alone! When we passed you on the way home, she was under the milk crates. We had to leave Lyn there, I'm afraid. She became very embarrassing trying to juggle frozen peas and crutches. Almost got us thrown out. You really can't take her anywhere twice. We caught a flash of red rubber catsuit in the distance, so Jenni must have sneaked in too.

That`s a bit sneaky of you, Jean, telling Mary what I did with the scissors - you shouldn`t have taken them off Lyn and given them to me if you weren`t prepared for the consequences. Anyway, I was drinking with the sole intention of keeping my inflammatory levels down, and that`s why I was encouraging everyone else to drink up too. I`m glad the snake behaved for you - he doesn`t usually like a lot of glitter, it makes him hyperactive.Did you manage to convince the police that Eleanor wasn`t actually with us? She really shouldn`t go around knocking off policemen`s helmets just to win a bet. Kathleen x

Well, you find out who your friends are don't you Mary?
How could they go off on a gig without us?
Sounds as if they had a good time too, that doesn't usually happen when we are not there to keep an eye on them.
We'll sneak out without them tonight and see if we can repair the damage or we won't be asked to do gigs there again.
Ready about 10, I'm just starting on the polyfiller.

Doreen you are right we know where we stand now just YOU AND ME KID we had a job telling the owner there was no snakes hidden any-where (I did like it when he frisked us but Doreen there was no need to go back for seconds) I dident realise Kathleen could do that until we watched it on the video as for Jean and Eleanor well that really made my eyes water think I will go on the same drugs as them until tonight Mary L

It's just that we can't find room round the pole when you are there Amanda. You seem to have put an awful lot of weight on lately.  I blame the champagne.

I dident like to say Amanda but I dont know what you have been eating or (more to the point) drinking lately but you seem to have put on a little bit of weight lately
I know we have fitted the three of us around the pole but cant do that now so we have set one up for you I hope you are not hurt by my remarks
me and Doreen has had a really busy day today
Ian and Richard were both out so we made up a new wonderful dance
Doreen has Christmas lights around her neck I have baubbles hanging????
really looking forward to Friday hope to pick you all up at 7
just going now to scrape the filler off
